The hours for this role, offer superb work / life balance Commutable from Wigan, Bolton, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Leigh, Skelmersdale, Eccleston, Ormskirk, St Helens and Newton-le-Willows Duties Drive timely product testing across in-process and final specifications Prepare and manage pre-shipment samples with accurate documentation Test incoming raw materials to maintain quality from the start Support R&D and development projects when required Maintain and follow equipment calibration schedules Deliver training on test methods to operators and team members Provide clear process adjustment instructions to production teams Complete inspections, testing, and quality documentation efficiently Identify non-conforming materials/processes and take corrective action Escalate issues promptly to the Senior QC Chemist or QC Manager Support specification and process changes when required Investigate and respond to customer complaints and process failures Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented quickly Requirements Qualification in Chemistry Calibration experience Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Confident communicator who can liaise across teams Organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement Experience in a QC or laboratory environment Why join us?
