 
        
        An opportunity has arisen for a Part Time (27 hours per week) Medical Receptionist to join our team. The post holder will provide a comprehensive reception / admin service to our Practice population. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a GP surgery but training will be provided to the right candidate.
The post is 27 hours per week to be worked over 3 days. Hours of work will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8am to 6pm. There is potential for 1 additional day on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. The post-holder will be required to cover extended hours on a Monday evening until 8pm on a rota basis.
Main duties
 * Undertake Reception and Telephone duties, acting as the first point of contact for patients and visitors
 * Process Repeat Prescriptions
 * Various administration duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice
 * Use SystmOne clinical system

Person Specification
Experience
 * Experience of working in a public facing role
 * Previous experience of working in a GP surgery
 * Experience in SystmOne
Qualifications
 * Good standard of general education including Maths and English
 * NVQ in Administration / Customer Care
