Hays is currently recruiting for a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation based in Middlesbrough. Due to a period of growth and expansion, they are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Invoice Processing: Accurately process a high volume of invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
2. Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
3. Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
4. Support: Assist with month-end closing and other ad-hoc financial tasks as required.
Requirements:
1. Experience: Previous experience in an accounts payable role is essential.
2. Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.
3. Adaptability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid working environment.
4. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex client queries efficiently.
