About the Department
The UK Sync Department specializes in music licensing and administration across various media, including film, TV, advertising, and digital media.
About the Role
This role supports the UK Sync team with licensing and creative tasks such as contract drafting, international clearances, and managing relationships with artist management and catalogues. The role involves attending industry events, managing relationships with the Stellar Songs catalogue, and assisting with licensing processes to meet team objectives and budgets.
Responsibilities
* Manage licensing processes, including deal entry, licensing, and invoicing.
* Serve as the point of contact for approval processes across territories for specific sync requests.
* Assist with artist/writer clearances for various media sectors.
* Liaise with songwriters and artists regarding sync queries.
* Negotiate deals and pitch for TV media projects.
* Generate reports on sync activity and pitches for management and artists.
* Support songwriter audits and internal licensing approvals.
* Attend industry events, client meetings, and artist gigs.
* Perform data entry and ad-hoc duties as required.
Candidate Profile
* High accuracy and strong organizational skills.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to collaborate across departments and with clients.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Passion for music and media industry experience.
* Existing industry contacts and client-facing experience.
* Willingness to attend events outside normal hours.
