Reception/Security Support
Location: Inverness
Contract Type: 12 weeks
Are you organised, approachable, and passionate about providing excellent front-line service? ASA are working with a public sector client who are seeking a friendly, outgoing and approachable Reception/ Security Support professional to join their team.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and contractors—helping us maintain a secure and welcoming environment while providing essential administrative support.
What You’ll Do:
* Greet and assist visitors, staff, and contractors at the reception desk, ensuring smooth security and visitor management.
* Respond to general enquiries in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner.
* Operate relevant systems and equipment required to carry out daily tasks.
* Plan and organise your workload effectively, using your discretion to solve problems and escalate issues as needed.
* Support safety and security protocols, including fire evacuation attendance duties.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in a similar reception, administrative, or customer-facing role OR qualifications equivalent to Standard Grades in English and Maths.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all tasks.
* Competency in using standard office software and equipment.
* A proactive team player with great organisational and customer service skills.
* Awareness of health and safety procedures and commitment to high standards of service delivery.
* Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to work autonomously when required.
Desirable Skills:
* A valid driving licence or access to transport.
* Knowledge of Gaelic (not essential but welcomed as part of our Gaelic Language Plan).
