Experienced fun swim teacher required to work Saturday mornings teaching in our 31 degree Spa pool, 8.45am till 1.45pm these are private 1-1 or 2-1 levels are from ducklings up to Stage 2 and basic stroke work
Sunday afternoons 1.30pm till 6.30pm teaching 3-1 in / 4-1 in our warm pool, these lessons are from stage 2 upwards so very small private classes in 31 degree water, ( at the moment we have 3 / 4 hours booked in on Sunday but for the right teacher we will expand )
Ideally we would like one teacher for both shifts but 2 teachers working either of the days also works.
We have our own pools so are Not term time, so a good mixture of classes
Pay is £17.50 to £19.00 per hour
We also have additional cover hours available
* Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the swim program's goals and objectives
* Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for participants
* Evaluate and track the progress of each swimmer and provide feedback for improvement
* Ensure the pool area is clean, organized, and safe for all participants
* Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is preferred
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming strokes and techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate swimming skills to participants
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with individuals of all ages
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
