About the Role
The Kitchen Assistant supports food preparation and maintains a clean environment to ensure the safe production of meals and beverages, delivering high-quality service to residents.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Understanding safe food handling principles to uphold hygiene standards.
* Contributing to team efforts, responding positively to colleagues, and following work instructions.
* Advising on supply and quality of items, ensuring timely reordering.
* Respecting residents and visitors, maintaining dignity and individuality.
About You
We seek candidates who embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrate high personal hygiene standards.
* Have knowledge of Health and Safety, including Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and COSHH.
* Be physically capable of handling a demanding workload.
* Show initiative and be flexible and positive in team settings.
* Have a caring attitude towards residents.
