Job Description:
A part-time position is available for a Research Assistant in Health Economics. The successful candidate will work primarily with Professor Katherine Payne, Dr. Joe Hilton, and Tonia Momoh on a project comparing standard and hypofractionated radiotherapy (IMPRINT). The project aims to assess the environmental, patient, and resource impacts of hypofractionation, which could reduce the carbon footprint of radiotherapy, improve patient acceptability, and optimize resource use.
The role involves data collection from study sites, including generating PLICs data to evaluate the feasibility and impact of transitioning to hypofractionation for cancers such as breast and prostate. The candidate will collaborate with health economists, clinicians, and sustainability experts.
Interviews are scheduled for Tuesday, 20th May.
