Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly and motivated Deli Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll be the face of our deli counter, helping customers select and enjoy our delicious meats and prepared foods. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food, has good communication skills, and enjoys working in a lively environment where quality and customer satisfaction come first.
Responsibilities
* Assist customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service at the deli counter.
* Prepare and display a variety of deli products, including slicing meats, cheeses, and other prepared foods.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
* Support food preparation tasks like slicing, packaging, and restocking products throughout the shift.
* Follow food safety procedures to ensure all products are handled properly and stored correctly.
Requirements
* Previous experience in food preparation, retail, or food service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.30 per hour
Expected hours: 27 per week
