SEN Teacher – Watford

Salary: £34,398 – £52,490 (dependent on experience)
We are supporting a welcoming and inclusive school in Watford that is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to lead and inspire pupils with additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a school that values individual learning, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing.
The school supports children with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties, and is committed to providing high-quality teaching tailored to each child’s needs.
The role will involve:
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND
Leading interventions and supporting progress against EHCP targets
Monitoring and assessing pupil outcomes, adapting approaches where necessary
Working closely with the SENCO, support staff, and parents
Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
Promoting independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
The school is looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching children with SEND in a school setting
Is patient, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils
Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills
Is passionate about inclusive education and supporting all learners to thrive
