Cyber Security Project Manager - Local Gov - 6 Month contract Location: London /Hybrid Rate: £500-£525 a day We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical initiatives across a broad Cyber Security Programme. The Role You will be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of cyber projects, ensuring alignment with programme objectives, strong governance, and effective stakeholder engagement across the organisation and third-party partners. Key Responsibilities Lead delivery of critical cyber security projects across the Cyber Security Programme Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and timelines aligned to programme objectives Establish and chair project boards and governance forums Manage internal and external stakeholders, providing clear project reporting into the programme Own and manage project RAIDDs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies, Decisions) Coordinate with third-party vendors and manage delivery against agreed outcomes Manage and allocate cyber security project resources Monitor and control project performance, budgets, risks, and scope changes Cyber Domains in Scope Projects may span one or more of the following areas: Identity & Access Management (IAM) Threat Detection & Response Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) Security Awareness & Culture Application Security Physical Security Integration Vulnerability Management, Patch Management & Antivirus Cloud Security & Zero Trust Data Protection & Privacy Network & Endpoint Security What We're Looking For Proven experience delivering cyber security or complex technology projects Strong understanding of cyber security controls, governance, and operating models Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Experience managing third-party suppliers and delivery partners Strong risk, issue, and dependency management capability InterQuest Group is acting as an employment agency for this vacancy.
