Our client is a global financial services company seeking a passionate and experienced Cloud Architect to join their dynamic team and be at the forefront of transforming their business through innovative cloud-hosted solutions.
As a key player in the Cloud Centre of Excellence, you’ll leverage your expertise to design, implement, and optimise cloud infrastructure that drives performance, scalability, and security.

Location: Leeds-based hybrid working (2 days/week in office, flexible days)
What You’ll Bring:
• Experience defining security requirements, hardening cloud environments, and evaluating architecture
• Hands-on cloud engineering or development background – ideally both design and build capabilities
• Experience with Entra ID management (formerly Azure AD) is desirable
• Deep understanding of DevSecOps principles and modern CI/CD practices
• Familiarity with enterprise and native security tooling (e.g. ORCA, Rapid7, Security Lakes)
• Experience liaising with Security Operations Centres (SOCs) and managed service providers
• Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in a globally distributed team
Who This Role is Ideal For:
• A senior or lead-level cloud architect who enjoys both solution design and implementation
• Someone confident leading technical discussions, shaping strategy, and being a vocal contributor
• A candidate with certifications at AWS Solution Architect level or equivalent experience
• Someone looking to own the design standards for platforms that underpin all technology delivery
• A collaborative technologist who thrives in fast-moving, transformation-focused environments
• Prior contractor-only profiles are less suited – looking for long-term contributors
• flexibility on start and finish times. this isn’t a strict 9–5 role
• 25% performance bonus (global benchmarked)

• Occasional fully expensed travel to Poland, Hungary, and Mexico as needed
