Part-Time Accountant Are you looking for Part-Time work? (20–25 hours per week, Mon–Fri) Are you an experienced Bookkeeper or Accountant/Assistant Accountant? What’s in it for you? * Part-time hours (20–25 per week, Mon–Fri) – ideal for work–life balance * Permanent position in a stable, growing company * Free on-site parking and a great on-site café * Friendly, down-to-earth team who value collaboration and initiative * A varied role offering autonomy, responsibility, and the chance to make an impact What You’ll Be Doing * Managing day-to-day bookkeeping across sales, purchase, and nominal ledgers * Reconciling supplier statements, bank transactions, and VAT submissions in Xero * Preparing reports – including Aged Debtors/Creditors, payroll journals, and monthly summaries * Handling credit control, customer accounts, and expense claims * Running payroll and supporting finance admin for a small subsidiary * Assisting with ad-hoc finance tasks and process improvements What We’re Looking For * Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally in an SME environment * Solid knowledge of Xero, Excel, and Outlook * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy * Confident communicator, both written and verbal * Able to prioritise workload and work independently Bonus points if you have: * Experience with Dext Prepare or Payroll Manager * Familiarity with VAT, payroll, and reconciliations * An interest in continuous improvement and efficiency Why You’ll Love Working Here You’ll join a small but mighty finance team where your ideas are valued and your contribution makes a real difference.
