About The Role: as a Senior Care Assistant at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes. Responsibilities
* Plan and implement care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
* Get to know residents and their families to deliver personalised care plans.
* Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care.
* Assist residents with daily activities (e.g., mobility aids) and support end-of-life care as needed.
* Communicate with residents’ families and colleagues in a kind and considerate manner.
* Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager with care tasks and provide stimulation through social and recreational activities.
* Administer medications as required and maintain accurate records of your work.
* Build strong relationships with the team and manage time effectively.
Qualifications
* Ideally, Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (S/NVQ) and willingness to work towards Level 3 or equivalent.
* Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
* Excellent record-keeping, time management, and communication skills.
* Positive energy and ability to get along with people; kindness is essential.
