The Role
We’re looking for a skilled Fire and Security Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. This role is hands-on and customer-facing, where you’ll maintain, service, and repair a wide range of systems including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control. You’ll also carry out inspections, troubleshoot faults, and ensure compliance with all current regulations.
What You’ll Do
* Service, maintain, and repair fire and security systems.
* Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
* Diagnose and resolve faults across multiple systems.
* Deliver excellent technical support and customer service.
* Ensure all work is compliant with safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Fire and Security Engineer.
* Strong background in fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control.
* Confident problem-solver with excellent troubleshooting skills.
* Great communication skills – written and verbal.
* Self-motivated but also a team player.
* SVQ Level 3 in Fire and Security (or equivalent).
* Full clean UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across Scotland.
