Vehicle Workshop Manager – Automotive

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Vehicle Workshop Manager to oversee our automotive workshop operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, proven leadership skills, and the ability to ensure that all workshop activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
This is a hands-on role, requiring both technical expertise and team management.
This role requires 5 years experience in either a Vehicle Technician role or Workshop Manager role
Key Responsibilities
● Supervise daily workshop operations and manage workflow effectively.
● Oversee the assembly, repair, and servicing of equipment and vehicles, ensuring adherence to schematics and specifications.
● Perform inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment is safe and fully operational.
● Provide leadership, training, and guidance to workshop staff on best practices, including welding, safety, and heavy lifting.
● Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and organised workspace.
● Address customer inquiries, providing clear communication and excellent service.
● Collaborate with other departments to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
● Proven experience in an automotive workshop or mechanical environment.
● Strong understanding of schematics, diagnostics, and mechanical systems.
● Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
● Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and develop a team.
● Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
