Role: Provide a full, comprehensive specialist service of assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral and discharge for a complex range of patients referred to the service. Act independently and supervise physiotherapists, assistant practitioners, clinical support workers and physiotherapy students. Deputise for the team lead in meetings related to the specialist clinical area.
Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programmes for a wide range of professionals and carers, educating them—and significant others—about the therapy process and any interventions relating to the management of patients’ medical and social concerns.
Employment Compliance: To work in the United Kingdom an individual must demonstrate the relevant permission to work in the country. The post holder must have a PVG Scheme membership/record for the required regulatory group (i.e., child and/or adult).
