Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Night receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires a warm and welcoming demeanour, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
* Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional attitude
* Manage phone calls, ensuring proper phone etiquette is maintained
* Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
* Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities
* Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
* Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming at all times
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
* Process reservations and manage booking systems accurately
* Support administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry
Experience
* Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role is preferred
* Experience in the hospitality industry or hotel environment is advantageous
* Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests
* Strong guest services background with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
