Location: Flexible, throughout Scotland. NES supports remote, hybrid, and office working, with some office attendance required, especially during induction.
Work Pattern: Fixed Term, up to 37 hours/week, minimum of 15 hours considered. Please specify your preferred hours in your application. The initial contract is until 31 March 2026, with NHS secondment options for NHS applicants and fixed-term or secondment considerations for others.
About NHS Education for Scotland (NES)
NES is responsible for workforce development, education, and training across Scotland's health and social care system. The Psychology Directorate focuses on training psychologists for NHS Scotland and upskilling the multidisciplinary workforce in psychological care.
The Opportunity
We seek enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our Psychology Directorate as Education Leads. The role involves delivering multidisciplinary training, supporting implementation, and evaluating training impact using data.
You will collaborate across various workstreams, including those focused on different age groups, influencing the delivery of Scottish Government priorities and supporting evidence-based practice.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have knowledge of psychological interventions, experience in delivering education and training, strong communication skills, data utilization experience, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
