About the Role / Team

Neighbourhood Manager. Lead a proactive, resident-focused housing service in Wooburn Green, High Wycombe.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead a flexible, responsive customer and neighbourhood service that delivers excellent day‑to‑day outcomes
* Champion continuous improvement using resident insight and data
* Ensure services align with our Customer Care Standards and organisational values
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver joined‑up, resident‑focused services
* Build strong relationships with residents and community groups to co‑create local improvement plans
* Develop and support a high‑performing team culture with clear expectations and growth opportunities
* Use data and insight to drive service improvements and strategic decision‑making
* Monitor KPIs and resident satisfaction measures to identify trends and opportunities


What We're Looking For


Must Haves

* Strong housing legislation knowledge with proven delivery in a regulated environment
* Experience of operational management in a fast‑paced setting
* Demonstrated ability to create a high‑performing, resident‑focused team culture
* Innovative mindset with a proactive, problem‑solving approach
* Ability to champion innovation and trial dynamic, demand‑led approaches
* Confidence using data and insight to drive service improvements
* Experience motivating, coaching and mentoring others
* Deep understanding of tenancy and social housing management trends
* Collaborative working style with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* High emotional intelligence and resilience
* Analytical thinking and decision‑making based on data


Nice to Haves

* Strong IT and digital capabilities, with an interest in tech‑driven service enhancements
* Experience working with formal and informal resident groups
* Working towards Level 4 Chartered Institute of Housing qualification
* Passion for community engagement and empowering residents to shape their neighbourhoods
