Overview

Duke Street Bungalows has an exciting opportunity for a permanent residential support worker to join our team. Duke Street is a residential service for adults with learning disabilities, rated as ‘good’ in our last CQC inspection.

Residential Support Worker

Salary - £17,040 - £19,126 (Grade 5)

Hours - 21 hours per week

Contract type - Part time, permanent

We are looking for applicants who are committed to develop creative ways to support & motivate individuals to achieve good outcomes that maximise interaction, involvement & independence.

Successful applicants will be required to work, between the hours of 7am – 10pm, including weekends and bank holidays.


Responsibilities

* Provide safe & compassionate care & support within a regulated service
* Identify & create opportunities for individuals to interact within the local community
* Develop creative ways to motivate & encourage participation in day-to-day routines
* Enable & promote choice & control for individuals
* Support individuals to maximise interaction, involvement & independence


Qualifications & Application
