Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Reception/Office Supervisor to oversee daily administrative operations within our busy office environment on our Caravan Park. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities both written and verbal and a comprehensive understanding of office procedures. Be calm and adaptable and customer service focused, when dealing with the public. This is a hands on role suited to someone with at least 2 years experience of Sage Cloud accounting. The Reception/Office Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient office functioning and managing administrative tasks, supporting and training staff, and maintaining high standards of organisation skills. The ideal candidate will also once trained be responsible for collating staff time sheets at the end of each month and submitting them to our payroll accountants. Working days are Wednesday to Saturday but may vary due to holidays and sickness.
Responsibilities
* Supervise daily office activities to ensure operational efficiency and organisation other
* Oversee data entry tasks, maintaining accurate records using software such as Sage Cloud Accounting and office programmes
* Manage correspondence via phone, email, and postal services with professional phone etiquette
* Assist with administrative duties including filing, photocopying, and document preparation
* Support the onboarding of new staff members and organise training sessions as and when needed.
* Monitor inventory of office supplies and organise procurement when necessary
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures across all administrative functions
* Provide guidance and support to other members of staff to foster a productive work environment
Skills
* Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
* Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
* Experience with accounting or financial software such as Sage Cloud Accounting is advantageous
* Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong typing skills to facilitate efficient document processing
* Outstanding organisational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively
* Exceptional communication skills with professional phone etiquette
* Administrative experience demonstrating the ability to support diverse office functions effectively
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
