An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Bereavement Services team in this key role supporting and ensuring compliance within the Cemeteries Service. You will lead the support team, oversee administrative and technical functions and ensure compliance with legislation and Council procedures.
The role involves managing office systems, processing financial transactions, monitoring performance and contributing to digital improvements. You will liaise with customers and stakeholders, handle enquiries and complaints and produce reports to support service delivery.
You must be educated to HNC level or equivalent in Business Administration, IT, Management or a related discipline, with experience in supervising staff, managing workloads and working in a customer-focused environment. Strong organisational and IT skills, knowledge of GDPR and health and safety legislation and the ability to analyse data are essential.
You will be joining a dynamic and flexible team who currently operate an agile model of home working and office-based work at Strathclyde Country Park.
Working Pattern:
Monday - Thursday: 08:00am - 16:00pm
Friday: 08:00am - 15:30pm
