We are holding interviews in August for Mental Health Nurses to work at Hartley Hospital in Southport. The facility includes an adult acute admission ward and an older adult ward.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate the care of service users, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of their care under the guidelines of the Care Programme Approach and supervision of the line manager.
2. Develop care plans tailored to the assessed needs of individuals, ensuring care delivery by qualified staff as per the plan.
3. Liaise with family members, carers, and significant others during assessment and care plan development.
4. Develop and communicate risk management plans for service users, incorporating team contributions and ensuring appropriate action.
5. Supervise unqualified staff to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
6. Support the use of evidence-based practices and participate in monitoring and evaluating care outcomes.
7. Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members and external stakeholders.
8. Support service users and their carers when the Mental Health Act is used, ensuring rights are communicated and documented.
9. Administer medication safely following policies and regulations.
