Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager
Location: External role covering Swansea and surrounding areas
Sector: Building Materials / Construction Supplies
Package: £40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Car
Responsibilities
* Account management
* New business development and opportunity identification
* Build and maintain long‑lasting relationships with contractors, builders and house builders
* Deliver excellent service to customers, paying close attention to detail
* Represent the company during Monday to Friday operating hours
* Promote and sell a wide range of building supplies, building solutions and building products to the construction sector within the Swansea region
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a sales role within the construction supplies / building materials sector (e.g., builders merchants, distributors)
* Experience selling to contractors, builders and house builders
* Strong sales drive and proven sales record
* Customer‑focused approach with excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Good knowledge of the Swansea area
