About the Role We are seeking a Catering Delivery Manager to support the delivery and implementation of catering services at the Sizewell C (SZC) construction site. Reporting to the Catering Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for managing a key package of work that ensures the efficient, safe, and high-quality operation of catering support facilities and services. This role is pivotal in supporting a workforce of up to 8,000 on-site in 3 sittings breakfast and lunch and a campus restaurant for 2,400 campus-based guests, with services including hot and cold meals, coffee shops, vending, hospitality, and retail. You will oversee the day-to-day delivery of 24/7 catering services, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, time, and cost parameters. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily provision of catering services across multiple facilities. Support the delivery of catering contracts valued at approximately £80 million. Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and site-specific requirements. Collaborate with catering contractors to uphold project values: clarity, respect, positivity, humility, and integrity. Monitor service delivery and customer satisfaction through feedback systems and user group engagement. Lead strategic planning and operational integration of catering services, including off-site production kitchens. Support procurement processes and contribute to policy and procedure development. What We’re Looking For Essential Criteria: Proven experience in catering delivery within large-scale projects or single-site environments. Strong leadership and management experience in catering operations. Experience working in high-security environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work collaboratively with local supply chain partners. Knowledge of food safety management practices. Desirable: Recognised certification in Behavioural Safety Programmes.
