Job Purpose
Execute the Strategic Quality and HSE Plan, defined in conjunction with the Quality Manager, and lead the continuous improvement activities in targeted areas of the organisation in support of Total Quality Leadership. Provide Quality Control and Quality Assurance support to customers, suppliers, partners and targeted departments of the organisation. This position also executes the Quality Assurance and HSE Strategy of the organisation to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established industry standards, government regulation and customer requirements. This position’s primary function is of an execution nature.

Job Dimensions
* Direct involvement with all members of the LEEVI Operations, Sales, Engineering and Technical Team at all levels
* Engagement with customers as and when required
* Undertake other duties to maintain and/or improve efficiency, quality and service provided by LEEVI products
* Geographic scope – UK organisation areas
* Health & Safety – lead by example on all company Health & Safety Policies, Procedures and Safe Working Practices
Key Accountabilities
* Provide expertise in Quality/HSE Assurance and process improvement tools to support continuous improvement activities
* Execute initiatives in development, implementation and improvement of the Lucy Electric Integrated Management System
* Control, monitor and report Quality and HSE processes to ensure safe, quality products
* Develop, deploy, analyse and review performance metrics to drive action plans
* Execute internal audit plan and drive corrective actions to root causes
* Support investigations into customer complaints with root cause analysis and corrective actions
* Support Supply Chain Management in collection, reporting and analysis of Supplier Quality data
* Participate in product development, launch and transfer activities with focus on APQP and PPAP as defined in the Lucy Integrated Management System
* Support other Lucy organisations within reasonable scopes
* Participate in performance management and contribute to career development; assist in design and delivery of Quality and HSE training
Secondary Activities / Tasks
* Undertake other duties to maintain/improve efficiency, quality and service
* Business travel within the UK and occasionally abroad
Qualifications, Knowledge, And Experience
Functional Competencies

* Seven basic Quality Tools
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Access, Word and Excel
* Engineering competency including reading drawings, BOMs and experience with electrical wiring and schematics
* Understanding test procedures and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical hardware
* Experience in technologies covering LV switchgear products
Desirable
* APQP, PPAP, FMEA
* Knowledge of LV distribution systems and switchgear
* Familiarity with CAD for schematic capture and PCB artwork
