Maintenance Engineer
LOCATION: Ipswich
TERM: Permanent
SHIFT PATTERN: Rotating on a Panama shift pattern 2/2/3
SALARY: £40,000 - £50,000, dependent on experience
My client is a manufacturer in the Food & Drink industry. They are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Ipswich on a permanent basis.
Attributes
* Time Served Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in an Engineering discipline
* Come from a Mechanical or Electrical background
* Ideally be experienced working on Plant equipment and Machinery
* Able to work safely and methodically
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Proven ability to work effectively in a team
* A flexible and proactive attitude towards work
Role
* Working in a team to improve and maintain manufacturing machinery & Plant equipment
* Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and building maintenance
* PPM and breakdown avoidance
* Ensuring documentation is maintained and Health & Safety standards are met
* Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
* Working with others and being an excellent team player
