Key Responsibilities Patient Care and Communication: Welcome and greet patients, answering any initial private treatment inquiries. Act as the primary point of contact for private patients, guiding them through their treatment journey. Effectively communicate treatment options, procedures, and associated costs to patients. Schedule and coordinate appointments. Treatment Coordination: Collaborate with orthodontist and other dental professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients. Present treatment plans to patients, explaining the procedures, expected outcomes, and financial obligations. Coordinate referrals to specialists, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity of care. Follow up with patients to ensure treatment compliance and schedule necessary appointments. Administrative Support: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and financial information. Manage patient billing, process payments, and discuss financial arrangements as needed. Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and correspondence. Collaborate with the dental team to optimize office workflow and patient scheduling. Skills and Qualifications Previous experience as a dental/orthodontic treatment coordinator or in a dental nursing role is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Knowledge of dental/orthodontic procedures, treatment planning, and dental terminology.
