In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out tyre fitting, battery replacements, bulb changes, and other basic mechanical tasks. Required Skills:
1. Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance (tyres, bulbs, batteries)
2. Ability to perform straightforward mechanical tasks
3. Good organisational and time management skills
4. Willingness to learn and develop new skills
5. Attention to detail and safety-conscious approach
Nice to Have Skills:
6. Previous experience in a fast fit or similar setting
7. Basic understanding of vehicle diagnostics
8. Customer service skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
9. Previous experience in automotive repair or a related field is beneficial
10. Semi-skilled or newly qualified automotive technician
Other Requirements:
11. Full UK driving licence
12. Ability to travel to and work in Godalming
13. Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, no Saturdays required
14. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in workshop environment
This role offers a basic salary of £24,000, plus valuable benefits including free annual MOT, private health cover, dental and eye tests, and a yearly salary review. Working Monday to Friday, you’ll enjoy a supportive environment where your development is a priority.
