We are seeking a dedicated Night Host to help us achieve our vision of delivering a seamless guest journey from pre-arrival to post-stay communications and interactions. In this role, you will provide exceptional guest service, fostering pride in our estate's products and services. You will also play a key role in building a sense of community among colleagues throughout the estate.
This position is ideal for a self-motivated, confident, and personable individual with a keen attention to detail. As a Night Host, you will be responsible for the smooth overnight operation of the hotel, ensuring all guest needs are met and safety and security standards are maintained. You will serve as the primary host for our guests from their arrival to their departure and beyond. Additionally, you will support the management and reception teams in their duties, ensuring adherence to SOPs and company policies.

* Anticipating and supporting guest requests
* Payment handling
* Feedback Handling
* Supporting all hotel department operations
* Duty management
* To have a full knowledge of the services and products that the estate offers
* Ensure data is stored securely

* Hotel night/duty management experience
* Experience in the hospitality industry
* Experience as a supervisor or shift leader
* Able to deal with a vast variety of situations
* Written and verbal communication skills
* Time management and the ability to effectively prioritise workloads

Where you'll be working - Our Hotels
Hadspen House - the focal point of our estate, housing a 24-bedroom hotel, library, bar and kitchen called the Botanical Rooms. We offer a true, farm to fork dining experience in a beautifully designed, atmospheric 60 cover restaurant. All food is prepared in our kitchen with ingredients fresh from our gardens or locally sourced, ensuring quality and seasonality throughout our offering. Open for breakfast through to dinner, we also host afternoon tea in the library and early evening cocktails on the terrace. The department extends into the house, encompassing the bar, library, croquet lawn, terrace and badminton court - delivering exceptional service throughout.
The Farmyard - a reimagined dairy nestled in the rolling Somerset hillside, our newest hotel project which houses 17 beautiful guest rooms within a newly renovated farmhouse with outbuildings. The Farmyard boasts a swimming pool, games room, honesty bar and 40-cover restaurant. Open breakfast through to dinner and using the finest produce from the estate, we cook in a wood fired oven and our chefs serve straight to the table. Seasonally led, hearty yet humble sharing dishes with carafes of wine served in a beautiful stone barn, with relaxed yet high-end service and open kitchen.
