As a Finance Administrator, you will provide accounts support across the division and central finance functions, contributing to our financial and business objectives.
This role is key in mitigating business risk by managing healthy cash flow through timely collections, maintaining accurate system records, and resolving queries effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Chase outstanding premiums via telephone, letters, and email, ensuring adherence to the end-to-end credit control process in line with SLAs and targeted thresholds.
* Produce and issue monthly wholesale broker statements; serve as a point of contact for statement queries and resolutions.
* Collaborate with the Cash Posting Allocations team and stakeholders to resolve unallocated cash and ensure prompt payment allocation.
* Support the Contact Centre/Trading teams with refunds processing, including checking requests and directing them to the refunds team.
* Assist the IBA Bordereau Team in producing monthly premium Bordereaux per insurer requirements and resolving related queries.
* Investigate and resolve unsettled insurer premiums to facilitate timely payments.
* Maintain the Team inbox and Business Support log, journal premiums, verify payment/refund dates, and resolve ad-hoc financial queries.
* Ensure processing of all supplier invoices aligns with company policy on D365.
Candidate Requirements
* Knowledge of regulatory and legislative frameworks within financial services.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Acturis, Open GI, OLY is desirable.
* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
* Self-motivated, proactive, with a problem-solving mindset.
* Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
* Analytical skills to interpret complex financial data.
* Effective communication and presentation skills for diverse stakeholders.
* Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships.
