Location: Dale Barracks, Chester, CH2 4BD
Pay: £12.54/hour
Hours: 37.5 (5 days over 7, including occasional weekends)
Shifts: Between 06:30 and 19:00 – enjoy your free evenings!
We’re hiring a Chef to join our passionate team at Dale Barracks. If you’re ready to grow your culinary career with a world-leading organisation that values work-life balance, this is your chance.
What You'll Do:
* Cooking and preparing food ready for breakfast, lunch and dinner services ensuring minimal wastage. Providing fine dining (silver service level) for functions/hospitality events.
* Working collaboratively as part of a team of chefs and acting as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
* Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals
* Assisting with deliveries and stock checks, placing food orders, and maintaining kitchen records.
* Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries. Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence.
* Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans.
What We're Looking For:
* Relevant culinary qualification (706/1, 706/2 or equivalent)
* Team player with effective communication skills
* Confident, flexible, and innovative
* Able to pass DBS and security vetting (UK resident for 3+ years)
