Senior Customer Account Manager (Manufacturing) Location: Thame, Oxford Salary: £40,000-£50,000 Depending on experience Onsite working, Hours are: 8am 4.30pm Mon Thursday, 8am 2pm on Fridays! We are going through a period of continued growth; to support this expansion, we are seeking a Senior Customer Account Manager to lead and develop our Account Management team. The Role This newly created role will provide leadership to a team of five Account Managers, who oversee the administration and management of customer orders from receipt through to despatch and invoicing. The Senior Customer Account Manager will ensure excellent customer service, strengthen internal processes, and help drive efficiency across the business. Key Responsibilities for the Senior Customer Account Manager Lead and manage the Account Management team, acting as the first point of escalation and resolution. Managing a team of five team members, with growth planned in the future for headcount. Represent the team across the wider business and champion effective collaboration. Review and improve ways of working, including optimising use of our ERP system (ASC) to drive efficiency. Strengthen business reporting and analysis for all aspects of order fulfilment. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and customer focus. Manging both existing new and legacy customer accounts. Skills & Experience Required for the appointed Senior Customer Account Manager Proven leadership and team management experience. Previous experience within a customer account management type role withing a manufacturing environment. Strong track record of delivering improvement and change in a business environment. Experience with ERP systems (ASC knowledge an advantage but not essential). Excellent influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. Previous office and people management experience. Data driven and computer literate, you will be working on a number of customer portals to manage orders. Process Improvement mindset.
