We are a successful independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Derby and our expanding payroll service means we are looking to recruit an Apprentice Payroll Assistant into our payroll bureau. This exciting full-time position offers the prospect of development and future career opportunities. We are looking for a motivated and organised individual with excellent communication skills who has office administration experience. Your main role will include processing client payrolls, dealing with client’s payroll queries and administering client payrolls. What we are looking for: * Good numeracy skills. * Ability to multi-task to a high standard, dropping in and out of tasks as required. * Experience using excel. * Ability to work along and as part of a team. * Excellent communication and time keeping skills. * Excellent IT skills. * Be well organised and systematic in approach to administrative functions. * Prepared to work flexibly according to the needs of the practice. * Great attention to detail. * Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
