Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for an Animal Management Instructor to join our Animal Management and Science Department at our Berkshire College of Agriculture campus on a full‑time permanent basis.
Animal Management Instructor
The position of Animal Management Instructor is a full‑time role of 40 hours per week, including one weekend in four. The role pays on the support staff pay scale band H, with an annual salary of H,496.22 to H,418.38.
Responsibilities include demonstrating, instructing and assessing learners in animal management courses; supervising students on the Animal Centre; leading the development, monitoring and assessment of practical skills; implementing individual learner plans; recording students’ progress and attendance; coordinating and inducting work‑placement students; and supporting lecturers and technicians in delivering units and professional development sessions. The instructor also assists with the management of animal welfare and daily care, maintains assessment records, carries out routine animal tasks, and assists with events and open days.
