Interim European Financial Controller

The Role
We are seeking an Interim European Financial Controller to oversee financial operations across the UK and support the company's expanding European entities. Based in Bradford, this key role requires hands-on involvement with core financial activities, compliance, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee cash management, balance sheet optimisation, and management reporting.
2. Prepare and consolidate financial reports for UK and European entities.
3. Ensure compliance with VAT, corporation tax, customs, and import regulations.
4. Manage UK payroll (via external agents) and provide HR compliance support.
5. Lead integration of acquisitions and support ERP implementation projects.
Role Requirements
6. Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
7. Extensive experience in financial management, reporting, and compliance.
8. Expertise in multi-entity operations and ERP systems implementation.
9. A proactive approach with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Additional Details
10. Location: Bradford (Office-based, with occasional international travel).
11. Hours: Mon-Thurs: 7am-4pm, Fri: 7:30am-2pm (40 hours/week).
