Senior Recruitment Consultant @ Randstad UK | Professional Talent Solutions

IT Financial Governance Coordinator

Location: Remote (UK-based)

Are you an organised and proactive professional with a sharp eye for detail and a knack for process management? Do you thrive in a dynamic, high-volume environment where you can directly influence financial efficiency? We're seeking two dedicated IT Financial Governance Coordinators to join our client, the renowned global beauty leader, Estée Lauder.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant global initiative: Beauty Reimagined, specifically supporting the Strategic Technology Expenditure Evaluation Reimagined (STEER) project, which sits within the Tech, Data & Analytics organisation. Your role will be instrumental in optimising and governing technology spend across the entire business.

This is a temporary, 6-month contract, as the long-term vision is to automate many of these processes via ServiceNow. You'll be working remotely from the UK, closely collaborating with a US-based team, playing a crucial role in operationalising new governance processes.

The Opportunity

You will be supporting the newly implemented federated spend governance process for technology. Your primary objective will be to ensure compliance, efficiently manage daily intake, streamline manual approval workflows, and deliver measurable cost savings through diligent process adherence and insightful discovery-based audits.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage a high volume of federated technology spend requests (ranging from 30–100 daily), acting as the central point for all incoming queries.
* Track the end-to-end governance process, meticulously managing workflows and facilitating exception approvals to ensure smooth progression.
* Document and quantify cost savings achieved through strict adherence to governance standards and best practices, providing clear evidence of value.
* Conduct discovery-based audits to validate compliance, proactively identify any process gaps, and uncover unauthorised or "rogue" technology spend.
* Collaborate closely with the Vendor Management Office (VMO) and other key stakeholders across the Tech and Procurement teams to ensure integrated processes.

What We're Looking For:

* A highly organised and process-driven individual with exceptional attention to detail.
* Proven ability to manage high volumes of requests and track complex workflows with precision.
* Strong analytical skills, capable of documenting processes and quantifying financial outcomes effectively.
* A proactive and inquisitive approach to identifying compliance issues and potential cost-saving opportunities.
* While not essential, experience or understanding of IT procurement, vendor management, or financial governance within a technology context would be highly beneficial.
* Excellent communication skills, adept at building relationships and working effectively with diverse internal teams.
* The ability to work autonomously and remotely from the UK, while remaining a collaborative and integral part of a global team.

Expected Value You'll Deliver:

* Provide immediate operational capacity for the new governance framework, actively preventing unauthorised or redundant technology purchases.
* Accelerate the realisation of cost savings by ensuring proper routing, approval, and visibility of all technology spend.
* Reduce the risk of non-compliance through proactive auditing and diligent exception management, strengthening overall financial control.

If you're a meticulous professional ready to contribute to a significant transformation within a world-renowned organisation and possess the skills to drive efficiency and compliance in technology spending, we encourage you to apply!
