Basic Salary: £28,000 - £39,520
Contract: Full Time, Term time only
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Your Role
As a SEN Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
* Supporting the class team in facilitating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
* Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with other school staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
* Supervising pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
* Building positive relationships with your pupils to drive interaction and foster positive learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Possess a strong educational background at degree level.
* Have previous successful teaching experience.
* Bring experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting.
* Be skilled in behavior management techniques.
* Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
* Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which will be covered by Polaris Education.
