General Foreman
CCG is one of Scotland’s largest privately owned construction and manufacturing companies, with extensive experience in the planned maintenance and retrofit of occupied homes.
As a result of a growing contract portfolio, we are recruiting an experienced General Foreman to support projects in the Glasgow city region.
SALARY: Competitive
HOURS: Full time, Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm; with additional hours worked as per project demands
DEPARTMENT: CCG Asset Management
STATUS: Permanent
THE ROLE
1. Coordination of labour and material control ensuring an efficient method of build, to the required build quality and programme
2. Scheduling work to be carried out to ensure production targets are achieved and high quality of product is maintained
3. Ensuring work methods are performed correctly
4. Completing relevant documentation on a weekly/monthly basis
5. Ensuring CCG’s Group Health, Safety & Environmental Policy is being adhered to and encouraging safe working practices on site
SKILLS
6. Trade background preferred but not essential
7. Good Leadership qualities
8. Basis knowledge of drawings
9. Be able work to tight deadlines
10. Self-motivated
11. Experience of working in occupied properties/dealing with tenants
12. Good communication skills
13. IT knowledge
