We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals for an essential role supporting the newly created Community Diagnostic Centre based in the city centre.
Preference
Preference will be given to internal Trust staff and to individuals with 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status, including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon, who can demonstrate recent relevant experience as outlined in the Person Specification.
Main Duties
The post holder will work as an integral part of the team, ensuring high‑quality service to patients. Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering general environmental cleaning across all areas, including daily and weekly cleaning of patient equipment.
* Complying with Trust Infection Control Policies and maintaining a professional manner that minimises the risk of healthcare‑associated infection.
* Adhering to food safety and hygiene training requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with the team, the Hotel Services Supervisor, and departmental management to maintain a hygienic and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring the highest standards are met at all times.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSEs in English and Mathematics Grade A‑D or Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English, or equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience.
* Willingness to undertake training relevant to the position.
* Basic Health & Safety knowledge.
Knowledge and Experience
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise effectively and manage deadlines.
