Job overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and progressive Administrator to join the Single Point of Access Team (SPA). this is an administrative post like no other. The service, which operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, receives external queries and referrals to LPFT and crisis teams. Referrals come into the team in a variety of ways, including telephone, email, letter or other electronic systems. Advert Your role helps to facilitate the coordination of all referrals, providing a rapid and consistent response. Establish the nature of the contact and, under supervision, identify the appropriate assistance required by following the contact centre pathway algorithm. Manage the referral by searching clinical records, checking details and demographics, amending and updating when required. Under supervision, screen all referrals against the screening tool, identifying any immediate emergency response, signposting to the right service immediately. To be competent in the use of the computer based Patient Record clinical systems where patient details are recorded.
