AV Manager - Operations
Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience
Location: Office-based 4 days per week / 1 day working from home

They are now looking to appoint an AV Manager to lead their field engineering team as the business continues to grow.
The Role:
This is a leadership role overseeing a team of field-based AV Engineers across installation and service activity.
You will be responsible for ensuring engineers are organised, supported and delivering to a consistent technical and professional standard. The position combines operational oversight, technical understanding and people management.
* Managing and developing a team of field based AV Engineers
* Planning and coordinating workloads across projects and service calls
* Acting as the senior escalation point for technical and operational matters
* Maintaining installation quality and ensuring best practice on site
* Conducting site visits, performance reviews and quality checks
* Supporting training, mentoring and development of engineers
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards across all field activity
* Overseeing tools, vehicles and operational readiness
* Monitoring delivery performance and supporting cost control
* Providing reporting and operational insight to senior leadership
This role requires visibility, structure and strong leadership presence.
The Person:
This opportunity would suit an experienced Engineering Manager or a technically strong AV Project Manager with experience overseeing engineers. What is essential is solid technical AV knowledge and a clear understanding of site delivery.
* Strong background in AV installations and/or service environments
* Experience managing or supervising AV engineers
* The ability to drive standards and hold teams accountable
* A clear understanding of health & safety within site-based roles
* Strong organisational and workload planning skills
* Confidence handling escalations and resolving technical challenges
* Commercial awareness around project delivery and operational efficiency
* Clear and professional communication skills
* A full UK driving licence is required.
