Based near Bristol and operating on a flexible hybrid model, this is a key role that offers variety, responsibility, and exposure to senior stakeholders across the business. As the Technical Accounting and Governance Manager, youll be a trusted point of contact for technical accounting guidance across the sector finance teams. Youll play a pivotal role in supporting financial governance and reporting standards, as well as contributing to continuous improvement of controls and audit readiness. Your responsibilities as the Technical Accounting & Governance Manager will include: Lead the coordination of both external and internal audits. Preparation and review of technical accounting papers. Support the preparation of key financial and governance documentation during reporting cycles. Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures relating to commercial contracts. Work closely with internal finance teams to provide technical accounting guidance and general financial support. To be considered for the role of Technical Accounting & Governance Manager, we are looking for: ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, with a strong grounding in technical accounting and audit. Solid knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements. Ability to stay up to date with relevant financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
