Role Overview
Be a pivotal part of a dynamic manufacturing environment as a Die Corrector. Reporting to the Die Shop Manager, you\'ll ensure the precision, performance, and reliability of extrusion dies; minimising downtime, reducing scrap, and maintaining top-quality outputs through expert die inspection, correction, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect, polish, and maintain both new and existing extrusion dies (press, storage, nitriding)
* Perform die corrections and support press parameter adjustments to ensure compliance with product specifications
* Minimise die stoppages and scrap
* Boost overall productivity and reduce turnaround time
* Operate key equipment, including Bridgeport milling machines and sandblasters
* Use ERP systems for die management and maintain accurate tooling logs
* Assist in nitriding operations
* Mentor and assist junior staff members

Your Profile
* Proven experience in aluminium extrusion processes, with solid understanding of die design & maintenance
* Skilled with precision measuring instruments
* Competent in reading technical drawings and CAD files
* Meticulous attention to detail paired with strong problem-solving aptitude
