CMS Recruitmentare seeking hardworking Plasterer on a permanent basis to join our well know construction & regeneration client working across Northumberland.
Role Purpose:
To provide a high-quality plastering service across occupied homes, empty properties (voids), and corporate/facilities buildings. The Plasterer will ensure all repairs, refurbishments, and planned works are completed safely, professionally, and with minimal disruption to tenants and building users. The role ensures properties are maintained to a safe, lettable, and compliant standard.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out plastering tasks including skimming, bonding, rendering, patching, plaster boarding, dot & dab, and full-room replastering.
2. Complete general pre-paint repairs including filling, making-good and finishing to a high standard.
3. Work safely and respectfully in occupied homes, ensuring customer comfort and minimal disruption.
4. Prepare surfaces, remove damaged plaster, and assess underlying structural issues.
5. Support void refurbishment teams to ensure properties meet re-let standards.
6. Follow all Health & Safety policies, including use of PPE and safe systems of work.
