Supplier Oversight Consultant - Building Claims Repair Specialist – Salary circa £45,000
Field/Home based - travel is required

This role is ideal for loss adjusters or buildings surveyors eager to utilize their insurance claims and property repair expertise, with a passion for coaching and supporting others to enhance performance for our customers.
About the role:
The main purpose of this role is to motivate external suppliers and Aviva employees to improve property repair claims performance sustainably. This includes reviewing performance and overseeing actions to enhance service, cost accuracy, safety, and quality across property claims (buildings & Contents suppliers). The role requires technical expertise and relationship management skills to identify opportunities and encourage improvement and change.
As part of the UKGI Claims Supply Chain Team, the successful candidate will identify systemic issues and individual development needs, applying coaching, training, best practices, and action planning to embed sustainable improvements in future claims management.
This will ensure ongoing alignment of performance with Aviva standards and provide assurance and insights to senior management for broader organizational change.
Skills and experience:
* Essential: Technical property/buildings knowledge and field experience in property claims.
* Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Passion for making a difference and improving customer experience.
* Desirable: Cert CII / Dip CII, BDMA, HND/HNC Building studies, or accreditation to CII, RICS, CIOB, CILA.
