A well-established construction company in the Coggeshall, Essex is growing and looking for a part-time Senior Finance Assistant on a 6-month temporary contract with potential to become permanent.
Working Days: Monday, Wednesday & Friday (8:30am - 5:00pm) in the officeSalary:£13.50 - £14.40per hour
Key Duties include but are not limited to: Client invoicing & credit control Weekly/monthly supplier and subcontractor payment runs CIS checks, reconciliations & HMRC returns Processing purchase, supplier & subcontractor invoices Matching POs & goods received notes Maintaining sales & purchase ledgers Managing company credit cards & expense claims Weekly payroll & pension submissions Timesheet management & supporting cashflow forecast Bank & credit card reconciliation Assisting with audit prep, month-end close, and taking accounts to Trial Balance General admin and reception support as needed
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Senior Finance Assistant position: AAT Level 3/4 or 10+ years' relevant experience Strong Xero and Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) Construction industry background preferred Familiarity with Construction Manager & Hubdoc a bonus* Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented
