TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS Experience of computerised planning/scheduling systems KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operate the scheduling system to plan and coordinate work through the shop floor, or develop an agreed scheduling process as required Plan capacity in advance, considering planned arrivals and input from the Customer Support Team Liaise with the Engineering Team to agree on priorities and adjust schedules as needed Act as the primary interface between the shop floor and other departments to ensure swift resolution of internal and external issues Track both internal and external projects and raise orders as necessary Attend Engine Programme meetings as required and foster strong working relationships Coordinate with Production Team Leaders to schedule Test Beds and RTCs in advance to meet customer Promised Delivery Dates (PDDs) Liaise with Production Team Leaders to ensure target dates are consistently met Participate in and lead meetings with wider business teams Generate shop floor work-to-do lists, highlighting key priorities Produce Programme-level PDD, TAT, and performance measures Monitor and report on On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Turnaround Time (TAT), taking appropriate actions based on findings Manage and control Work in Progress (WIP) and Goods Received Notes (GRNs), ensuring closure within 24 hours OTHER RESPONSIBILITES Adhere to Health and Safety requirements and regulations and be part of the HSE Team and attend meetings and walkabouts.
