7.5T Driver – PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY
The Role
A well-established and prestigious client is seeking a professional 7.5t driver to join their team on a permanent basis in East Harling. The role offers the chance to be part of a growing, passionate team in a key customer-facing position.
In this role, you will take pride in your work, maintaining high standards of safety, organisation, and communication. By working closely with the wider team and embracing company values, you will help ensure operations run efficiently while creating a delivery experience that truly stands out.
What’s on offer
1. £13.50 per hour
2. Overtime paid after 8 hours at £16.87 per hour
3. Start time: 06:00
4. 1–2 nights out per week – Night out allowance provided, with hotel accommodation arranged
5. Company bonus scheme
6. 29 days holiday including bank holidays
7. Additional holiday entitlement awarded for each year of service
Requirements
8. Full UK driving licence with valid Category C1 or higher entitlement
9. Valid Digital Tachograph Card and CPC
10. Good understanding of driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations
11. Good knowledge of UK geography
12. Comfortable with regular overnight stays and long-distance travel
13. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and one-person lifting tasks
Key Responsibilities
14. Complete nationwide deliveries safely, on time, and in full
15. Provide a professional and friendly customer experience
16. Communicate with customers ahead of delivery
17. Ensure accurate loading/unloading and secure all loads
18. Complete delivery paperwork, photos, and proof of delivery
19. Follow all driving, safety, and tachograph regulations
20. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
21. Keep the office updated on delays or issues
22. Support the wider team when required
